Tuesday September 9th is Election Day in Wisconsin. This fall, all of the Wisconsin Assembly and half of the Senate is up for the election. The primary will determine who will be on the November general election ballot if there is more than one candidate running for a political party.
So, why is voting in the September election so important to passing a bill for children to have hearing aid and cochlear implant coverage? The simple answer is because we must elect representatives who will advocate and vote for the bill.
